Dip a Toe into British Coastal Culture at Reform’s Latest Brunch Offering
This summer, Reform’s tent is being transformed into a giant beach hut each and every Saturday, beginning May 18th, to bring a taste of the British seaside to the shores of The Lakes.
From Blackpool to Brighton, and everything in between, guests will be transported back to Blighty with classic British seaside food, kid’s activities and live music. Expect a heavy dose of nostalgia with the stripy huts and holiday vibes, accompanied by Reform’s curated three-course a la carte brunch menu and beverage offers.
To start, dishes include ‘Shrimps Cocktail Filo Cups’, poached and chopped shrimps mixed in a rich cocktail sauce topped with chives, ‘Truffle Steak Tartare Brick’ and the return of the popular ‘Giant Sausage Roll’, perfectly seasoned Cumberland mince rolled in puff pastry and served with zesty mustard mayo.
For the main event, diners can expect to see dishes such as traditional ‘Beer-Battered Fish & Chips’, fresh cod fillets dipped in a light and crispy beer batter with thick-cut chips, mushy peas and tartar sauce, mouth-watering ‘A5 Japanese Wagyu Sliders’ with cheddar cheese and onion purée, ‘Angus Hot Dogs’ in a potato bun with all the accompaniments, and moreish deep-fried ‘Basket of Buttermilk Chicken’ with buffalo mayo.
It wouldn’t be a day ‘Beside the Seaside’ without a sugary treat, and Reform has plenty for the sweetest of teeth! The dessert buffet station includes ‘Homemade Fried Doughnuts’ made with vanilla pastry and filled with cream, banana and Nutella, crisp meringue-based ‘Eton Mess’ with whipped cream and fresh strawberries, candy floss, cooling ice creams and refreshing frozen popsicles.
Children are catered for with the classics – Chicken Nuggets, Mac & Cheese, Penne Pasta with a choice of tomato or pesto sauce, and Spaghetti Bolognaise, all washed down with a choice of ice cream.
As for drinks, there’s a host of beverage offers with jugs of Pimms and Margaritas priced at AED 150 and jugs of Mimosas for AED 200, beer buckets at AED 125, whilst selected craft beers are AED 33.
This sharing-style brunch menu with dessert buffet is priced at AED 225 for adults, including soft drinks. For children aged 6-12 the price is AED99 and under 6’s are free.
